Cal Descaler loosens and dissolves limescale, corrosion deposits and iron oxides typically found in heating systems with circulation and heat transfer problems. Calmag recommends using the Cal Descaler for the boiler (heat exchanger) only as research shows that limescale only forms above 72°C in a sealed system and is not required in the radiators or pipework. Dose the system with 1/2 litre per 100 litres of water using a powerflush machine.

Cal Silencer is a flocculent blend that is typically used to shift deposits of silt, mud and sand from open drains. Cal Silencer gives the silt particles a buoyancy in water and by putting a small electrical charge on each particle it causes them to repel each other. Material treated with Cal Silencer is unlikely to form a sold mass again. This enables the silt and the sludge content of heating systems to be removed quickly and effectively.
